It’s not often I give 5 stars but the new Bob’s Chophouse in McKinney deserves it. Me and two close girlfriends once again picked a gem for our monthly excursion. The new restaurant is dark like most traditional steakhouses but this one also has an open concept. I ordered the chopped salad, rack of lamb (medium rare) and a glass of their red Zin. The lamb was good but with a little char it could have been perfect. Yes, we even shared a slice of the amazing chocolate cake!! This is precisely why I work out! The best part of our visit is by-far the expert service. Our server Brian could not have been a better fit. He was fun, patient and knowledgeable about the menu options. He even used the crumb scraper, isn’t that how we judge an upscale restaurant venue?

What a quaint steakhouse to find exquisite morsels for a fine dining experience. The service was very good which eluded to meals fit for “royalty”. Walking into the building there’s a sense of exclusivity as we were greeted by the hostess. The food and drinks was excellent! The portions were sharable, but if you bought a big appetite, it certainly obliged. Speaking of shareable, the carrot cake for dessert was enough for my entire family at the table. Great Experience!

My wife and I celebrated our January birthday's last night at Bob's and it was a great experience! The valet, hostesses and everyone who greeted us were fantastic. Our waiter, Brian, may have been the best waiter we have ever had - he was beyond exceptional!! And the food - from the loaf of bread (my weakness:) to the delicious steaks, sides, dessert, was the best! Thank you!

Bobs is the best place for great service and a great steak! My wife and I are big fans and this is one of our go to spots. We were looking for a place to celebrate our anniversary so we decided to try a new steakhouse on Main St in Frisco - bad idea. The service was horrible. So we left that place before ordering food and we got a table at Bob’s. Of course, our server Clancy was phenomenal. He was fast with drinks and quick to check in. The food was amazing and we had the manager and the head chef check in on our experience. I can’t say enough about how much I love Bobs. We learned our lesson and we’ll be staying loyal to them from here on out.

This restaurant is greatness. A group of us went to celebrate our friend. The atmosphere was perfect so that we could spend time visiting and enjoying our meal. Our server, Kristen, supplied us with information to help us choose our entrees. She checked on us without constant hovering. It was a wonderful dinner experience.

Bob's Steak and Chop House - Valentine's Day Review My friends and I took our wives out for Valentine's Day and decided on Bob's Steak and Chop House. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, perfect for a special evening. The service was also excellent. We started at the bar for some drinks before being seated. While my Old Fashioned was a miss, the food more than made up for it. I decided to go for the bone-in pork chop to switch things up, and my wife ordered the sea bass. The bone-in pork chop was cooked to perfection—medium, just the way I like it—and it was dripping with delicious juices. The apple sauce they paired with it was the perfect complement. As for the sea bass, it was incredible. I'm not one to order fish at a steakhouse, but this was soft, flaky, and absolutely delicious, served on top of a delightful avocado purée. Overall, the food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. We’ll definitely be back!

Bob's has always been a treat. Several lovely meals down on Lemon Ave, tonight was our first experience in this location. Jay our service expert this evening was on point. Patient with our needs, sharing the details, and accommodations above and beyond. The kitchen delivered the goods cooked as requested and tastes beyond our expectations. Always love a good Bob's dinner service and now there is one close to home.
